Klam's Rink 2012

Hello to all fellow rink builders. Well after an above normal December in the northeast (Lawrence, Massachusetts, USA) we have finally fallen into a cold snap.

This is our second year building a rink. It's funny how much you can learn in just one season.

Here are a couple of pictures, and I will soon be posting my home made ice resurfacer (The Klamboni).

The rink this year measures 38' by 86'. We filled it last night into this morning and hopefully will be skating in a couple of days. Still have to put lights up and some end boards.

There truly is nothing better than to have a rink in the back yard for the winter.
