Mike Bossy

Mike Bossy was born on January 22, 1957 in Montreal Quebec, and grew up in the district of Villeray, in Montreal.

After school he would go straight to his backyard rink. The backyard rink was built by his father for Mike and for his other 5 brothers.

Mike Bossy and his brothers would play hockey after school during weekdays and they were on the rink during the weekends as well.

When Mike was not on his backyard rink he would be at the local neighborhood rink. Many times there would be as many as 50 kids at the neighborhood rink and they would make teams and play.

Mike played professional Canadian hockey who playing in the NHL for the New York Islanders.

Mike is well known for is goal scoring abilities. He was a natural goal scorer who possessed one of the best power shots in hockey history and is still considered one of the best snipers of all time.
